For design drafts and subsequent drawings we use Inventor software by AUTODESK Inc. (USA), a 3D CAD system with add-ons that simplify the creation of 2D documentation according to ČSN, DIN, ISO and other standards. The add-ons are supplemented with databases of normalized parts, making it easier for the designer to search in standards and catalogs.

Visualization of 3D models is a great benefit for 3D design. Our customers may view devices in the design stage, learn about the weight, volume and manufacturing process and thus influence the product design as they deem desirable. Data production for NC machining is another great advantage of 3D modelling.

All products used by our company are designed to be able to work with data file formats used throughout the new product design process.

We are able to share our 3D or 2D documentation with our partners using other systems through IGES, VDAFS, STEP and other formats. IGES in particular is becoming a global standard for CAD file sharing.

Printed circuit boards in DICOM are designed using the Protel design system.

Inputs for the PCB design department are schematics drawn on paper or in electronic format. The designer may design the entire PCB on his/her own and the PCB department simply generates output data for the manufacturing process, i.e. the data for the photo plotter, drill and cutter.

Among other important PCB design department outputs are data for surface mount automat and automatic creation of part list from the schematic. Whenever a part is changed on the PCB, the production documentation is updated automatically. PCB design department data are also used in the making of technical documentation (schematic drawings and surface mount drawings).
