Choke ring

The choke ring increases suppression of signals with opposite polarization that hit the GPA24 antenna with low elevation (up to 30°). This increases suppression of the reception of reflections from the surrounding terrain thus improving position measuring accuracy, mainly in an undulated terrain. The choke ring also suppresses the reception of signals that hit the antenna from the bottom, which increases resistance against RF jamming.
