LUN5254.02 - Engine limiting unit

For turboprop aircraft engine WALTER 601F, DICOM developed, manufactures and supplies LUN 5224.02 electronic parameter limiter. It is an electronic device that processes input signals from transmitters and switches, signals exceeding of monitored engine parameters and is a source of input control current for electro-hydraulic converter that regulates the fuel supply.

The monitored parameters include:
• generator rotation speed
• propeller rotation speed
• temperature of gases between the turbines
• torque on the propeller axis
• temperature rise between the turbines
