The last technological operation in the process of product sale to the customer is packing. This seemingly trivial operation may have great influence on the further destiny of the dispatched product, especially fine mechanical and electronic devices.

This is why several years ago DICOM performed a study concerning packing technology for its products, resulting in a unified approach to packing for all of our products in modern boxes, enabling easy transportation by any means of transport (ground or air) to any place, as well as storage in these boxes until the moment of application.

The key element in this system is a cardboard box with internal membrane frames. Their thin elastic foil embraces the product, which "floats" inside the box without any contact with its walls, making it entirely resistant to vibrations and repeated impacts during transport.

This technology is extremely environmentally-friendly (90% recycled paper cardboard , 10% thin PU foil, health risk free, water-based glue), can be used repeatedly, is fully recyclable (RESY label, passed strict testing in Germany and USA). It is so flexible and universal that it can be used to pack various similarly sized products, which we use to the maximum extent in DICOM.

We have unified our packing procedure for all our products. Products delivered to countries with extreme climate (especially high humidity) are furthermore packed in air-tight foil.
